You were obviously the bigger of the two by sending him the card. If he chooses to not respond then let him pout. When he is ready to return to be your brother, then remind him of his childish ways and explain to him that you need and expect a brother 365 days a year, not just when it is convenient for him.
And tell him there was a check for $100.00 in there that he just missed out on...Merry Christmas..lol

I probably keep the card and send it again with another one the next year. But the most important: call him to wish Merry Christmas, maybe the card it´s not enough and he needs something more personal.

Send him a post card, and let him know the 100 bucks in the card went to a donation in his name.

I feel so sorry for him. He must really be feeling terrible to want to turn away the affection of family.

Know that it is his choice, not yours. If he doesn't want contact, there isn't anything that you can do. He may change his mind at another time, it's up to you whether you will be open to that.

did you do anything to make him made? sounds like he isn't exactly in the Christmas spirit. People that deny family will soon find themselves without family...............
