CFS is something that nees to be diagnosed by your doctor. You may find out that by losing weight your energy levels will go up. If you have kids think about their future. Do you want to be able to see them grow up and have kids of their own. If you don't have kids yet, do you want to have them. You need to make the decision to make yourself get up and get exercise. I was obese for years...even as a child and I got tired of having to take insulin shots to control my diabetes. I had gastric bypass surgery after losing 3 babies due to my blood sugars being too high, and I now have a 2 year-old son. I work out 2-3 times a week plus chase my son around...which is exercise in itself. Don't use excuses for why you can't exercise. Talk to your doctor.

I used to walk in my house. I would put on a movie I really liked and just pace in the living room. I started out at 3 minutes, then went to 6, 9, etc adding 3 minutes every other time I walked. I ONLY allowed myself to watch the movie while walking. I got up to 40 minutes per session (then I switched to a different form of exercise).
But the motivation has to come from YOU. Not me.

CFS sucks
I feel for you
My mother has that
I am sorry
CFS is a good excuse to not exercise... I mean, it's harder for you than for other people who are just LAZY for real
I don't know what to tell you
Maybe you can make yourself realize that you will feel better when you get out and move
You may also want to try supplements that have shown to help CFS and cut weight as well!
Tyr raw, organic apple cider venigar (Bragg's kind), a tablespoon in 8oz water before each meal, St John's Wort, magnesium, etc.
There are lots of natural supplements that may help you a lot with your condition...
if you don't already take them, that is = )

You just got to tell yourself you have to do it regardless. Don't make excuses. Any little bit of anything is better than doing nothing. Even if it hurts do a little. Stretching, bending, walking--just move more. Inactivity is the biggest killer in this country. You will get more energy. Take a multi-vitamin every day and drink a lot of water.

Just tell yourself that you can stop at any point. i think some people get discouraged if they think the HAVE to go 30 minutes or nothing. even if you try someone for 5 minutes and have to stop, then at least you are trying. everyone has to start somewhere, regardless of their condition.

make a committment to only do a tiny amount of activity each day..say 2 minutes of walking in place or even stretching in a hot tub. then add a minute every few days.
