Not a good thing - never good to miss a dosage of an anti-depressant.

For me, wellbutrin totally fixed my depression but also made me extremely manic. Its a powerful drug...

Just make sure to take your next dose as soon as it comes up... otherwise you risk a major depressive episode.

I'm not sure what your question is. Are you asking if there are side effects if you miss a dose or if someone on Wellbutrin has trouble remembering to take it regularly.
But, having been in both situations, here's my 2 cents. A medication like this can not work properly if it is not taken as prescribed, meaning every day at about the same time. I used to miss a lot of doses of this, especially when I was on the SR which needed to be taken twice a day. (The XL is once a day.)
It's the only antidepressant I've been on that has not had significant withdrawal symptoms when stopped. I did not have to be weaned off of it, unlike all the other anti-d's I've tried. Even after being on it for years. I ended up going back on it because it works so well for me without side effects.

If you are having trouble keeping doses straight, I strongly recommend getting a pill organizer that is broken down not only in days of the week, but also in times of the day. This way, you can see when you have taken it or not. I used one of these for two years until my medication regimen was finally routine and a well established habit. For the past several years I have not had to use that type of organizer and I almost never (I can't remember the last time I did) miss a single dose anymore.
