We had a great relationship going fo a while. But there's something in between us that recently became apparent but I have no idea what it is other than it's extremely painful for her. I respected that...for a while, but I think I've had enough. It's like she wants to take a break from us only so she can try to forget about "it" again and then pick us back up. But only to end up right back here, as I see it anyways. So I want to tell her that I love her and care for her, which is why I can't be in her life only some of the time. Any suggestions on how to deliver this without sounding accusatory or downright mean? Should I even care if I do? I would love to be with her and I want to do this in a way that leaves that possibility open in the future.

just tell her the truth. you just said it right there. repeat it to her make sure its really how you feel, it might be hard but its the truth and the truth hurts but it will set you free. if she cant handle it then what makes you think she would be able to handle bigger and worse issue in the future. you have to be able to communicate and a part of that is being straight forward with each other and not beating around the bush get straight to the point that way you can get a straight answer. were all growing and that apart being an adult! the point about relationships is that it will get hard its what you do to fix that counts. just tell her straight up!

You both have to be open and honest with each other even when sometimes it hurts. The great thing about a real good relationship you learn to confide and forgive each other no matter what the circumstance. If this can not be resolved I dont see where the future of this relationship is headed. Best of Luck! Loving a person with all your heart and soul is hard work!!!!!

Write her a letter. This way she can take her time reading it and there won't be any arguing in between the points that you want to make. If you write it like you have asked in this question then she will have the time to think about what she wants to do and then reply to you when she has made a decision based on how she feels and not in the heat of the moment. Good luck to you.

Well there is no easy way to tell her but you have to be honest with her about how you feel.... have you tried and talked to her to see why she can not let go of what is between you?...... But to me reading what you said and how you put it sounds like she no longer wants a relationship with you until it is convenient for her..... Just tell her and stand your ground......

It sounds like she doesnt take your relationship seriously! you love her all the time and she only does some of the time,, i think if she only wants to be with you some of the time shes not worth your love, love someone who loves you back full time.

This is easy. Tell her to pick you or the other guy she's seeing in your "break"

Tough one. Do what you feel is necessary. What more can I tell you?
