you're doing a good job. start a healthy diet. never skip breakfast! keep exercising! somehow you'll see the results. it'll take time.
::edit::
By the way, what do you mean by doing crunches & run "sometimes"?? You should exercise at least 4 or more times a week for at least half an hour or more! Less than 30 minutes of workout is not enough. This is good because your body will be toned instead of out of shape.

Doing crunches won't make you lose weight. If you are serious about it you should run not just "sometimes" but at least 3 days a week for 20- 30 minutes. Eat more fruits and veggies. At least 5 a day. Protein is also important ...chicken breast or tuna. Also eat six small meals throughout the day instead of 3 big ones. No more sodas or sugary drinks...drink water instead. Above of all will power and discipline are the key. Good luck!!!

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.
I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.
It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.
Get started today!

The most important thing to remember when starting to workout is that you cannot spot reduce. If you do a million crunches a day and do not follow up with any cardio, you will not see any results.
The best way to shape up is to do lots of different types of exercise that you enjoy, or would like to try. Here are some examples of cardio exercises:
Walking, Swimming, Jogging, Biking, Kickboxing, Step Aerobics, Dancing, and many more.
Along with cardio, you have to add in strength training exercises. Here are some examples of strength training exercises:
Pilates, Yoga, Weight Training, Calisthenics, and many more.
Try to add in three days or cardio for at least 20 minutes and add two days of strength training that involves at least 8-12 exercise for the major parts of the body (chest, back, arms, legs, abs, low back).
If you are eating a healthy diet with a balanced exercise program, you will begin to see results in as little as four weeks! Good Luck!

Crunches and situps will only tone the muscle under the fat. They will not make the fat go away. Doing cardio in intervals will melt the fat away the fastest. If you jog, try sprinting for thirty seconds after every two minutes of jogging, or if you like the elliptical machine, step it up a very difficult level for a minute, every two minutes. If you do half and hour to an hour of cardio daily and eat more vegetables and drink a TON of water, you will see results fast.

You won't lose the fat around your stomach just by doing crunches. If you want to lose the fat around your stomach you need to do some cardio and muscle building. You should try jogging or swimming at an easy pace for 3 miles, that should start burning fat. Increase in muscle mass will make your metabolism faster. You don't have to start bulking up like a body builder, just easy lifting. You should also change your diet around, avoid eating sweets and fatty foods. Try to eat many smaller meals throughout the day then 3 big meals.

It really takes time to see results. I lost 100 pounds but it took me over a year. I started to diet and exercise. At first i didn't see results and it made me mad because I worked my butt off and didn't see results but I didn't give up and in the long run 100 pounds came off and I look like a whole different person. You are doing a great job by exercising. Just don't give up. It does take time. 1-2 pounds lost a week is normal. So to really see results, it will take ahwile. Good Luck!

You need to cut calories to lose weight, exercise (calesthentics) is not going to cut fat!!
You need to count the calories of the foods you eat... no more than 1200 a day... drink a lot of water, and do cardio (run or walk) for at least 30 minutes, 6-7 days a week

How old are you? And your BMI (body mass index) is 29.3.
Underweight = <18.5
Normal weight = 18.5-24.9
Overweight = 25-29.9
Obesity = BMI of 30 or greater
Sorry but you are overwight. =[ How long have you been doing crunches?? Start with situps and work your way up to crunches. I do about 25-50 crunches a day and im starting to get a four pack.
I started with sit ups to get my body ready for what was to come. Also drink a lot of a water to rinse the toxins out of your body. Hope I helped babe.
Love, Danielle
