Doesn't really matter most fo the time, but are they selfish as well?

Or can they get paranoid when you do not even notice them?

Or misread things because they think of everybody is thinking about them (when nobody has noticed them at all), and the only point to remember is to stay clear!

People that are sefl-concious usually have a low self esteem and lack confidence. It is more about gaining acceptance from other people. Vain people are over confident, and it is all about themselves.

Well according to what my thesaurus tells me: A Vain person is one who - 'Reflects an all too high opinion of themselves'
And I would take a slightly different meaning from the description of 'self-conscious' - but both may show a history of diagnosed or un-diagnosed psychiatric illness of one sort or another. A person who knows the subject well may see odd behavior from time to time, but generally this will have no impact whatsoever on the public at large.

No, they are not the same. I don't expect you understand. I have BDD which is a body image disorder. I'm very depressed and hardly go out, I don't consider that to be vanity in the slightest. I just want to feel normal and have a normal life. Yes, I do think people are thinking about me or judging me, but that is part of my disorder which I am on medication for. I've not heard of meds for vanity, so please try to take this seriously and be a little more open minded. Thank you.

Vanity is the same yet different from self-conscious. Mostly vain people put themselves above all others around them, being judge and jury to others actions by comparinging them to the "perfection" they possess. Self-conscious, while thinking of themselves, are comparing themselves to others but instead of seeing their perfection the tend to see more of their imperfections.

I actually have a biggish nostril, and a few situations human beings have made a comedian tale approximately it, yet i in simple terms shrug my shoulders and pass consult from somebody who isnt so shallow. If its your close friends then they could in basic terms extremely comedian tale approximately it with the aid of fact they be attentive to you dont have a huge nostril. or you ought to ask them to renounce. i'm exceptionally optimistic, and my friends make relaxing of my nostril distinctive the time, it makes them snicker (and me too) so i think of if i didnt have a huge nostril could we be joking around as lots and having as lots relaxing? Having a huge nostril doesnt make you a foul individual, and you shouldnt experience undesirable approximately it, be optimistic (regardless of if its pretending lol) and coach off your character, then human beings will see who you're, no longer what you appear to be.

They are egomaniacs with inferiority complexes. Meaning they want everyone to think they are the BOMB, when in fact they are afraid that no one likes them. And when they behave like that for a while, it is very difficult for anyone to like them.
