wanted to make some gumbo with turkey but did not want to buy an entire turkey just to get the dark meat. trying to feed a few people.

Sure they do. If you don't see a package at the store, ask the meat attendant to get you some.

Yeah, actually they do. I'm not entirely sure if you can get it without the strange flavorings they do with it, but you can buy the thigh and leg without the whole turkey.

My parents like the big smoked turkey legs...that's how I know.

Yes you can buy turkey thighs, as well as just wings, or just breast meat. If you have a problem finding them in your market ask your butcher to help find it.
