Uninstall Flash Player?

Flash Player screwed up my computer, now every time I go onto a page that needs Flash Player it shuts down my browser. I was able to uninstall it once but I reinstalled it and now it won't uninstall at all. Can anyone help me? I just want it off of my computer for good.

If you're in Windows XP Sp2, in internet explorer, click on the TOOLS menu, then manage Add-ons. Find "Shockwave" or "Flash" in the list. Click on it once and select "Disabled" at the bottom.
