my grandma gave me 1000 to buy 5 people presents. theres something really expensive that i want, its 250. should i buy it for myself? when i told her i wanted sneakers for 50, she said thats too cheap, and to get something nicer... should i do it,or is it wrong of me to spend that much money only on myself?

give the rest their share of the money and save up 50 yourself,,you get trainers ,no guilt and a happy grandma,,,tell the others what has happened and explain you dont know what to buy them so here,s the money,,shh dont tell her,,tell her i bought you ,,(whatever they did with the money)

I think you should split the money 5 ways and get you something for $200 instead of the $250. That would be the fair thing to do.

Buy the 5 people gifts of equal value. If you choose to leave some money, buy your grandmother something nice. You can't put a dollar sign on something from the heart.

No she said buy something nicer so go right ahead and do it. And that will still leave you with 750
