I have had stuffing in a box and I think that it tastes good.

I always make mine from "scratch". I have tried several different box stuffings, but I have never liked them as much as what I make. I find the box stuffings to be a little dry and have even tried altering them in different ways so that they are more moist - never the same though. I also like the freshness of making it from scratch right before I stuff the turkey, chicken or pork. I can also vary the recipe in so many ways when I make it myself. And it doesn't really take any longer than the boxed.

Stuffing in the box because it is easier and you can always add a can of chicken broth and meat off the turkey or chicken to the stuffing and it tastes like homemade!

I have never had stuffing in a box -- but cannot imagine anything tasting better than my homemade stuffing.
Without getting into details and amounts -- it is a mix of dried bread; sauteed onions, celery and carrots; diced apples; nutmeg, salt and pepper -- you can't get that in a box!

I love stuffing from a bag, spruced up with the gizzards cooked and green pepper and onions fried. Amazing!
