I dont know what type of face I have, either round or Heart shape.
I want to get bangs like one of these:

but I don't know if they'll suit me!
All of my friends said they'd look nice, but my family thinks they wont suit me "Blah blah blah.... long time to grow out" "blah blah blah you'll regret it!"
get my point!
Please help me!!

Just do it. There's a style for everything. I did, and it looks alright.
You'll never know unless you do it. Side swept bangs look good for round faces, along with many other shapes. You could always part it differently anyway to get a different look.

It's your hair, and you should decide, but I think that the side-swept bangs (like Nicole Richie's) look great with glasses.

since u wear glasses..u sudn't get large bangs..but get a little smaller ones..if u get large ones..it will distract u when u wear glasses..so look for smaller bangs.

side bangs are cute, do what you want. Its just hair it will grow back

It's your hair, you're the one to maintain it....let it grow out til you get the desired look you want. If they dont work out, cut them off. easy solution.
