There is only one thing you can do, sorry, you gotta come clean...I am hoping you had permisssion to borrow the camera..it is sad but she needs to understand that accidents happen. You clearly didn't do it on purpose...
I think I would send her an email to be sure that I got it right, make sure she knows how bad you feel...look, there isn't any way to fix this one...I am hoping she is adult enough to understand you are very sorry, she may not have the pictures but she still has the baby..
You might be surprised at how well she takes it, we change when we have children, our priorities become much more realistic...good luck to you. If I were you I would do it soon, you made a mistake...that is it. Don't beat yourself up...accidents happen, it's not like you got drunk and dropped the baby down the stairs.....it's okay...I would forgive you...(God does too)...hang in there..good luck.

All you can do it tell her the truth and that you are so very sorry. She'll know one way or another eventually, so you might as well step up to your accident and get it over with. She will probably be upset, naturally, but she should have had those pictures off of there because they were so important. Good luck.

Sounds like you didn't do anything wrong on purpose. If you did this with my camera, I would blame me for not having taken out a very important memory card myself.
It's actually more her fault than yours.
You should be more upset with her for leaving such a valuable item in a place where something could happen to it. That's right you should just get fuming mad at her. Turn it around.
The nerve of her, putting you through this kind of hell.

She's going to be so mad at you. I don't think anything can be done just own up to it and see what you can do for her to feel better about her lost pictures. I hope she printed them out or saved somewhere.

There is nothing you can really do but explain what happened and apologize. Accept what ever she says and allow her to vent, then process what happened then she will come around and forgive you for it.

Wow! We'll nothin' you can do about it now. Tell her, and apologize, that's all you can do, what she does after that is all on her.Probably best not to ever bring it up after you apologize either, I would only talk about it if she brings it up. And regardelss of how she reacts, forget about it!

all you can do is tell her,,,,,trying to hide it when you can change nothing doesnt make you any more sorry but telling her straight away at least shows respect. hopefully she has saved the pics but if not,,oops. brave it out and go in person for your telling off or worse,,,disappointment in you.
