I also drink green tea and twice a day take apple cider vingegar. That is supposed to help you alot.

Here's the skinny

The first 10 lbs is water weight, if you want long term weight loss and being your age you can't buy or use over the counter pills, however heres a plan that might help you.

eat smaller portions of meals, breakfast only 1 bagel with topping, drink water or tea. Cut the sweets unless with splinda. No more snacking unless negative calorie foods, which are fruits and vegatables that take more to burn then in the food. celery, carrots, mangos, straberries, papaya, leeks all are negative calorie foods. You can find mroe online.

Also when eating lunch have either soup or a sandwhich with a piece of fruit.

During dinner drink 8ox of water before you eat and if you hungry do not snakc 3 hours before bed drink water. Also during dinner eat your meat portion first then move on to the vegtables by doing this can help you feel hungry faster and the water before dinner will fill you up faster.

Don't deprive of food ever. remember the first 10lbs is usually water weight which flexuats through the day.

weight your self in the moring after going to the bathroom and unclothed so you have your correct weight, also wait 2 days before weighing yourself, and remember after the first week some weight might come back on is water weight.

Ok hun, first of all, it will take longer than 2 weeks, so don't give up! You need to continue to drink LOTS of water, and add more fruits and vegetables into your diet. Your body will have more energy if you eat more fruit, because fruits are foods that don't take ANY energy to burn. Stay away from breads and pastas if you REALLY want to see results.. (whole grains if you must). Just so long as you cut out saturated fats, and all the cookies and chips you should lose weight in about a month or two. (Just think, each cookie you have has about 300 calories in it.. thats almost an entire meal you snack on) Don't worry, you can do it!

When you say healthy, are you counting calories? I have dieted all my life and here is what worked for me (95 pounds down in 6 months). EXERCISE. Shoot for 30 minutes a day. Walking is fine, but consistency is the key. COUNT YOUR CALORIES. Every package has a serving size and calorie count, plus you can look up other foods on nutritional sites. Eating healthily is all relative, and if you have been in the habit of not eating so great, then it is hard to judge what is healthy and not.

IMHO - FORGET THE CARBS, PROTEIN, SUGAR etc. etc. nonsense. I have eaten nothing but sweets (i'm serious) for a week and still lost weight. You DO want to get enough protein only because it is essential for muscle mass and good for you too obviously, but don't obsess. Just be sure to get a small portion with every meal.

It's what goes in, must be burned or stored as fat. Very logical and basic!

Good luck to you.

You have a way to go to get to your best weight. Trying to hurry there will only lead to frustration. If you continue eating well and exercising, the next step is to eat smaller meals more often. It is scientifically proven that the same number of calories eaten in smaller meals vrs 3 square meals a day will lead to weight loss.

Don't eat within 3-4 hours of going to sleep.

Pick one area of your body that you want to be slimmer, and see how much fat you can get between your thumb and middle finger. Watch this area daily rather than your scales. If you are getting thinner due to weight loss, the area you are testing will get smaller. If your scales don't show the weight loss, it is because of water in your body, or muscles getting larger. Don't worry, it is the loss of the fat that you want to know about.

Good luck. If you give yourself until late spring/early summer to achieve 20-30 lbs weight loss, you will be able to show off the new bod in the sunshine. You'll be lucky to lose 1 lb per week on a steady basis. Don't break your diet for any reason. It just makes you feel bad. You want to feel good. Don't eat those cookies!!!

I don't know about the green tea thing or the cider vinegar but drinking lots of water and eating healthier will help.Try increasing you exercise.Do 30-45 min car do 3 to 4 times a week and strength training same amount of time but 4 to 5 times a week.Try not to snack after 7. No sweets and no junk food. It's normal to lose 1 to 2 pounds per week. It's not healthy to loose more than that a week. Before trying any exercise please seek a doctor. If this doesn't work seek a doctor.

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

Get started today!

I am too going through this problem. And I also want to loose weight as fast as possible, as you do. But what I actually feel about it is that
if you want to do something perfectly you need to have strong desire in your mind. Believe me that is the only way. whatever you do diet, drink water, and whatever it should be accompanied by a strong desire. Now I don't have one therefore I excercise for some days and then one day I feel like skipping it. I diet for one day and then another day I start taking on loads of calories. I mean it is not going to help. Nothing comes easily, for everything we should be ready to pay the price.
