All my dogs think this is the coolest treat, and I have even bought peanut butter flavored dog treats so I know it's not just me. This is obviously not something they would have in the wild, so why do they love it so much?

I put some in the bottom of a plastic cup and it will keep my chow chow amused for hours! It's the only way I can groom him!

they love it because its sooo tasty! I love it too!
When the jar is almost empty, I give it to my dog. He takes it outside and licks it clean. If the jar is really big, I use a spatula and scrape it off the bottom, then spread it closer to where he can lick it off and give him the jar back.
Its like giving him a bone...but not crunchy! Unless I get crunchy peanut butter!!! Ha!

thank you for the grooming tip my dog loves peanut butter I give her a little as a treat. I think they love the smaell of it

If the dog likes peanut butter then I guess it's ok.I would be careful not to let the dog have access to large bites as it may present a choking hazard as it does in humans

It tastes great to them. Dogs wouldnt have bacon in the wild either - but they love it. Peanut butter tastes great and can provide you with hours of amusement!

My dog actually stuck his mouth in the jar and ate it. Then had peanut butter stuck to the roof. So funny. Think they like the sweet and salty combination. But most of all I think its because dogs will eat anything.

I don't know unless it tastes sssooooo gooodddd! to them like it does me. I love the stuff too. Rather have peanut butter and jelly sandwich for breakfast than bacon and eggs.
