not at all - take a look at the ages of world champions they are mostly in their late 20's and in their 30's - it would be good to start NOW though so you can learn everything you need and get conditioned in the next 5 years or so - good luck

I have a question to answer your question. How bad do you want it? If you are not willing to do what others won't do then you may as well not start because you will only get your feelings hurt (among other things). If you really want it you would be working on it right now,no,not in ten minutes or tomorrow,Right Now! If you decided to start now, don't slow down, don't worry about who is watching, just go, work until your chest is goona explode then work some more.spend every second as if it were your last chance because it may be. I let that dream slip away a long time ago and not a moment goes by that I don't wonder "what if"?

There's boxing as an image, boxing as a lifestyle, boxing as a sport and boxing as a business. If you want to do it as a career then its possible but it takes a big committment and there are zero guarantees even if you have the skills and the work ethic. If you want the image without doing all the hard training then be careful it can bite you. If you just want to do it as a recreational sport then anybody can do it at any age.

Not too old, but you will be behind the learning curve and will have to be 100% dedicated, anything less and you risk getting injured in the ring.
