You could, if you haven't already, try and bring it out in him.
I had a girlfriend that made me a candle light spagetti dinner in the middle of her living room floor out of the total blue once...wore a pretty dress and everything. I really loved that small romantic gesture, among others, and it made me feel more romantically involved with her.

Perhaps he just doesn't know how to be romantic and might be uncomfortable, so if you make a larger effort to bring romance to him, he might be able to loosen up. Try and be creative as well......it's the little thoughtful things that really make a difference.

I think romance is one of the best parts of a relationship, so let him know it's important to you. Keep throwing some spice in his lap more often and see what happens ;)

Well, the best thign for both of you is to simply accept it. Some men are just not romantic, in fact, a good majority of them are not.

What do you feel is truly romantic anyway? it is so different for everyone? We are also bombarded by movie scenes, Hallmark ads, jewelry commercials, etc. that make us all feel that our significant others are somewhat lacking in the romance department. Thank you Hollywood and the Marketing Industry.

I guess I would ask myself how my man treats me all year long? Is he good to me, honest, loving, a good friend, respects me, etc? Honestly, that means so much more in the long run compared to his ability to shower you with flowers, presents, cards, and all that comes with it.

On a final note, I have dated some very romantic men. However, I will say that thier embers faded rather quickly. And, many of them were also really good at the art of romance, and really terrible at the art of having a good relationship.

If he isn't being romantic, I say you put on the pair of pants and show how great it feels to be romanced. It's happening all over the place, woman is the new man.

Manlaw states that men are horny by nature and fallible by design.

Nowhere in the edicts of manlaw does it expressly state or infer that men are romantic by nature.

Romance is typically reserved for saps and movies.

Romance is known to reside in Utopia.

Most guys have absolutely no clue about romance - so, if your satisfied with your boyfriend about everything else besides this, you might just have to learn to live with it.

Put him into a situation were he will have to admit why hes not himself. Don't force the guy, just try to see through him, i'm sure theirs a reasonable explanation.
