People aren't sinners because they sin. They sin because they are sinners.
Apart from Jesus Christ, we're all lost and wretched.

People are wretched because we insist on trying to live our life apart from God. The one person we need the most is the one that we ignore the most, and that to our own destruction.

Some only appear wretched and cynical and bitter but underneath they're really quite reasonable.

People are wretched because they always seem to be dumping their problems on good people. They hate themselves and hate good folks for being happy. But don't mind wretched people, sometimes they are good peole with major problems.

If everyone followed the commandment to love one another as we loved ourselves there wouldn't be too many wretched people.

People don't like to be proven wrong, they want what they believe in to be correct. That's not always the case, when someone gets proven wrong or is confronted for wrong doing, they usually get mad.
Thats my take on it. I dont know why this is asked here, this should go in the psychology section or something...

Is it all people? I was hoping I just hadn't found the unwretched ones yet... Well I guess my quest is over now I plan to put all my energy and resources into finding candy mountain!!

It is a personal thing. BUT personally i believe that people are 'divorced' from families. community and of course, reality ( spirituality).
