I have been here...
Most women honor the "hands off the ex rule". Female relatives and girlfriends are not supposed to date an ex. It not only leaves a feeling of betrayal, but when everyone is in the same space, it can be awkward. You also are left to wonder if there was always an attraction between them. Your sister is also probably aware why you broke up. Besides all of this, with all of the woman in the world, why would he try to see your sister (which is a reflection of his character).
So to answer your question...SHOULD you be pissed? No. If your sister has decided to be with this guy, so be it. She will always be your sister. That will never change. If she wants your leftovers, let her have him. You already know what kind of man he is and that he is not for you. However, I believe it is OKAY for you to be pissed just dont let it consume you.

No, you shouldn't be pissed.

Manlaw states that a statute of limitations of seven years applies to your "ex" if someone in your family is considering dealing with him.

NOTE: Manlaw makes it perfectly clear that a best friend, however, may NEVER take your "ex" because this violates the sanctity of the institution of friendship.

Unless your "ex" is your "baby daddy" or has given you "the stuff" on an intermittent basis after the final break-up, he is fair game (seven years after the date of last sexual activity).

Finally, the ya-ya sisterhood states that if you are still musing over your "ex" TEN years after the relationship has ended, then it is high time for you find a suitable replacement.

Your "ex" is your "ex" FOR A REASON. You KNOW he is TRIFLING. If your sister can't use the good sense God gave her to learn from YOUR experience, then by all means let her bump her head!

Actually, you should pity your sister for settling for YOUR "sloppy seconds"

Marinate on this for a few minutes.

Honestly, i would be so pissed. But if it makes you mad just talk to your sister about it and tell her how you feel. If she doesn't realize that shes hurting you, then she's not even worth it.

i would be somewhat upset but if its been that long, i would let it go. i mean 10 years is a long time and enough time to get over the breakup.

What's in the past should stay in the past. You had your chance with him, and it obviously didn't work out.

10 yrs later, he's fair game.

Ewwwww, how could your sister want to be with someone you've been with? That's "soap opera" creepy.
