it's called Psychosis....and a good psychiatrist with good meds can help! Or it could be someone copying off of the Son of Sam....where the dog "told" him to go out there and kill people.

Yes but you have that word "claims" you can of course claim all day and it don't mean anything. But even me an Atheist knows if there really was a God and he told you to kill someone there would be no choice but to comply. As an Atheist you should know there is no God therefor there is no justification for killing a person and saying God wanted you to. That could very well be used in a plea of insanity in a court of law though. There are crazy people out there but not even a sane Christian would believe God would tell a person to kill someone. If God wanted someone dead he would only have to think it. No other action would be necessary. A person just can not go around killing and trying to say God made them do it. That's like saying the Devil made me do it. xx

The test we must all do to verify that it is really God, is to check it against the scripture. I would bring up the "do not kill" commandment in this case. God doesn't change His mind. He will never tell you to do something that goes against scripture. We hear this excuse often in the case of divorce. God hates divorce, so He wouldn't tell someone to do it. He always gives a confirmation of His will. Those who don't look for confirmation are being stupid.

Oh quandary quandary. i'm leaning to B, yet my B isn't a God in any respect. there is C: Fictional, yet i do no longer additionally be attentive to that. ok how approximately the two B and C? Nature is the capability that animates and destroys all issues thoroughly unconditionally and indiscriminately. It would not qualify the term 'God' because of the fact it has no information, and is no longer sentient. As for a God being, the jury's properly and somewhat out in my case, despite the fact that it may be kinda defunct with out Nature. ~LL~

No. God doesn't tell us to kill people. Crazy people may think He's telling them that. And in some cases people use "God" as justification for doing what they wanted to do in the first place, to further their own agendas. God will enact His own punishment on them.

God does not need man to do his work. If God wants someone dead, they fall down and die. Satan deceives people into thinking things like that. Therein lies the battle. Satan verses God. Guess what?! If I live as the Bible shows me to, I am on the winning side. Gods! Jesus Lives! God Bless

i dont think any religion's God would tell them to kill. of course thats not just. and because God gave us our feelings of what is just and what is not, of course he has the same opinion. Or else, why would we feel this way. and if you dont believe in God, ignore my answer or it will make no sense at all. maybe not even for the people who do believe.

Claiming that God told them to kill is in itself accusing someone else !!!!
Whether there is a God (but I do believe there is a great power beyond and above us all), does not make it alright for one to kill.
So, NO.....it is not justifiable!!!
May God Bless Those Accusers (they have mental problems)....:)

Absolutely not! First of all, why would God tell them to? Couldn't he just do it himself? Besides, we cannot allow people to excuse their bad behavior like that. We have no way of knowing if they're telling the truth, if there is really any truth in it.

I think that people sometimes listen to the wrong voice...the devil is good at gently whispering in the unsuspecting's ears.
We have to pray to God and listen carefully to what He is telling us...sometimes people don't take the time to prayerfully listen.
God Bless you and yours in 2007!
