Just keep liking him until he breaks up with his girlfriend. Get to know him a little better than you do. Once he dumps the girlfriend, make your move. Ask him to do something outside of school with you. Maybe a movie or something than if you think he might like you ask him out. Hope this works. Good luck.

There really isnt much you can do that isnt being a boyfriend snatcher and being a jerk. I mean the girl is your friend and you totally cant steal her boyfriend, thats just mean. You shouldnt flirt with a taken boy that is taken it is very wrong. You can always try telling her how you feel about her boyfriend. But that could result with an argument, really the only thing you can do is wait until he is available. Cause i mean how would you feel if someone stole your boyfriend and flirted with your boyfriend, bad right. And if that boy realizes that you flirt with taken boys he is going to think your trash. And you dont want that. But that doesnt mean that you cant hangout with him without flirting, i mean you can talk to him and then atleast youll get to be his friend and stuff and you wont have to totally be away from him. Then maybe if he realizes how fun it is to be with you maybe hell like you and break up with his girlfriend and ask you out. But dont put on a fake act cause if he leaves his girlfriend for you and he left her for fake reasons he will deffinately never gjo for a jerk like you. So be real and maybe youll get the guy you want. You would still be taking her boyfriend but i mean i dont think she would get that mad at you cause i mean you werent flirting you were just hanging out. But i mean dont do it too suddenly and glue yourself to the guy, take it slow and slowly hang out with him from a little bit to quite a bit to as far as you want, but dont forget to show that you can give a guy space, remember that dont be a flie on ****. Give him enough space and it should work out fine. Luck!!

He's taken... that's a point you have to remember.... don't get in between the two of them... cause you'll lose a friend and a potential partner. Also many people don't agree with going out with ex's a friends, no matter how much you like the guy... just out of general respect for you friend. Be careful!

Leave him alone, at least until he's single. When he is, talk to your friend. Tell her how you feel, Ask her does she feel ok and comfortable with you going out with him, If Yes then good, Take A Shot!, But if No respect your friend and dont go out with him. Theres other fish in the sea, (you might find someone who looks even better!!!)
