few weeks before i graduated from college which i just did, i met a girl. one time, late at night, when we were both studying, she said she was starving so i wanted to feed her, but it was 2am so no place was open so i told her to come back to my room. i was REALLY busy at that time with papers and working a full time job so my room was really messy. that was the only time she saw my room. we are still friends and both kinda like each other but i still can't get over the way my room was the only time she saw it. i feel like a bum. why do i keep dwelling on this??

sounds to me that you were more concerned about looking after her needs at the time than the fact that your place was a mess. Sounds like an admirable quality to me. why don't you just talk to her, maybe she can make you feel better
