My stove is in the repair shop, my car was stolen, and I leave a couple miles from the store; has anybody cooked anything besides a cake in their child's ez-bake oven?

You do know that the heat source for an easy bake oven is a light bulb, right? If you stick a cheese sandwich in, it will NOT grill it. It may melt the cheese, although it will take a very long time to do even that. Do you own an electric skillet? If not, I'd recommend eating the sandwich cold or just having a pb&j instead. :)

DON"T put a grill cheese sandwich in there!
It will not get cooked or take you forever!

it is powered with the heat of a lightbulb -so yes the chz. would probably just melt al over the thing-in culinary school-we were not allowed to cook in our dorm rms.(go figure) so we tried grilled chz. on a hot flat iron it really worked-just had to keep flipn it and had to remember to hide it in case of rm searches-which never really happenned -that i recall

definite I do! I make mine with thick slices of sharp cheddar cheese and that i sprinkle sugar on the cheese so whilst all of it melts collectively it supplies it a splash candy flavor too, it somewhat is extraordinary! attempt it a while.
