birdsflies -

I hope that the same person who taught you how to "intepretated" the bible wasn't the same one who taught you how to spell and use grammar, but it obviously was, because you have "made a fool of yourselve".

Also, I would suggest that you start using a capital "S" when refering to the devil. From what I've read about him in your book, I wouldn't want him PO'ed at me.

Just a suggestion.

For your own good, of course.

Excellent points! I'm impressed, most folks (at least Christians), don't bother to actually read scripture...

Me - I'm a former Catholic - and have read the bible many times...

The 'bible thumpers' annoy me, because they generally have no idea what they are talking about.

St. Augustine (if I remember the correct guy - would need to look him up) stated that the uninformed should not preach to unbelievers, in order to avoid looking foolish...

Pity so many so called 'bible thumpers' don't take that advice.

Anyway - well documented, well researched, and well presented.

Thanks,

Genesis 1:27 refers to Adam and Eve. This is the 6th day of creation.

Genesis 2:7 is a recap of the creation of man with greater detail.

It is not stated how much time has elapsed when Genesis 4:16-17 transpire. Since early humans lived many hundreds of years, why do you think that a larger population of people hadn't been produced? Many thousands would have been produced even if a child was produced only every 5 years or so.

I don't see how you're coming to your conclusion on Jer 10:12, which states....

"He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and by his understanding hath he stretched out the heavens: "

This looks to me just like a reference back to creation.

Leviticus 18:3 says...

"After the doings of the land of Egypt, wherein ye dwelt, shall ye not do: and after the doings of the land of Canaan, whither I bring you, shall ye not do; neither shall ye walk in their statutes. "

So I don't see where you're going with that argument either. But if you see a statement that says, "Yahweh is not the god of these people." Then couldn't that mean that those people don't worship Yahweh? It doesn't mean that they weren't part of creation, but that they've fallen away.

None of those verses support your contention.

>>Genesis 1:27 refers to the creation of man and woman before the garden of eden.
Genesis 2:7 clearly describes the creation of Adam and the whole garden experiment<<

Genesis 2 is not a continuation of Genesis 1. They are two different accounts of creation.

>>Genesis 4:16,17 has Cain moving out on his own and settling with other people - this was too early for them to have been his relatives<<

There is nothing to support the claim this was too early.

>>Jer 10:12 talks about others on Earth<<

"He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heavens by his discretion." Are you sure you have the right verse?

>>Lev 18:3 states that Yahweh is not the god of these people<<

"After the doings of the land of Egypt, wherein ye dwelt, shall ye not do: and after the doings of the land of Canaan, whither I bring you, shall ye not do: neither shall ye walk in their ordinances." Again, are you sure you have the right verse?

First of all, you don't know how to intepretated the bible, Gen 1:27So God created man in his own image,---- Now what did God created here, The soul of a man & not the body, sorry friend you lose on this one, Gen.2:7 Now you try to point this to the begininng of Adam back up to Gen1:28 We see Adam in the Mind of God Before all was placed in the Garden, 2:7 shows the actual bringing man kind into a living element or person. Now if you look in Gen 4:14 We are looking at a time span, because Abel & Cain was already grown up, & cain killed Abel & verse 14 says & it came to pass, which means some times has already pass, so therefore Cain was already a grown man when he killed Abel, Don't think Cain was born & 2 yrs later he killed Abel, no, I have to also believe that Adam & Eve had some daughters even though it is not mentioned in the bible. Now in Jerimiah you are looking way pass the flood, & from Gen. 1 to Gen 6 you are looking at 2000 yrs. Let alone the time from the flood to Jerimiah, Jer. 10:12 He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom & hatheth stretched out the heavens by his discreations, Where are you getting God creating different people on this earth, it I true by this time there was many people on the earth. Now Lev. 18:3 After the doings of the land of Egypt wherein ye dwelt, shall ye not do, & after the doings of the land of Canaan, whither I bring you shall ye not do neither shall walk in their ordinances. I don't see one place here that God said they was not his People, He was reminding Israel why & how he brought them out of Egypt, That they shall not live with Idols & such, But he don't say they are not my people, Now Before you call us Bible thumpers, Look at yourself, You try to twist scriptures around to suit your own purpose, & you just made a fool of yourselve, Because I am a Bible thumper that has been thumping the bible for over 36 yrs. Therefore I am not a Novice in the scriptures & I am also wise enough to see the sly & cunning works of satan, Now Before you try to throw something again that is only your way of thinking, remember you called us bible thumpers, Now you have met one that knows how to read the scriptures in the right way. Sorry you lose all around., anything else you want to throw at this Bible thumper.

Genesis 1:27  And God proceeded to create the man in his image, in God’s image he created him; male and female he created them. = Them means Adam and Eve.

Genesis 2:7 And Jehovah God proceeded to form the man out of dust from the ground and to blow into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man came to be a living soul. =only man, garden was finished already as stated in Chapter 1

Genesis 4:16 With that Cain went away from the face of Jehovah and took up residence in the land of Fugitiveness to the east of E′den.17 Afterward Cain had intercourse with his wife and she became pregnant and gave birth to E′noch. Although the bible did not name daughters of Adam and Eve, it is considerable that they had other children.

Jeremiah 10:12 He is the Maker of the earth by his power, the One firmly establishing the productive land by his wisdom, and the One who by his understanding stretched out the heavens.= Did i get this right?

Leviticus 18:3 The way the land of Egypt does, in which YOU dwelt, YOU must not do; and the way the land of Ca′naan does, into which I am bringing YOU, YOU must not do; and in their statutes YOU must not walk. = God chose his people the Israelites....while other nations were having their own manmade gods....certainly they do not know the true God and continued worshipping their gods.

The Bible does not give the amount of time between the birth of Cain and the time of the murder of Abel. It also doesn't mention the possibility of other children born during this time.

Yahweh was not the God of the Canaanite people because they chose to worship other gods (idol worship).

You are correct that Adam and Eve were not the only people on Earth. This is a myth perpetuated by many preachers. I'm not sure why they leave this part out.

Although, if you consider the Bible, we are still all products of incest. While one can argue that the other people had children, the story of Noah's Ark implies that everyone is a descendant of Noah. After all, everyone was killed except for Noah, his wife, his three sons, and their wives. Repopulating the earth would require lots of incest (and pretending that Indians don't exist).

Now, if Noah is a descendant of Adam, then one can argue that today's people are sons of Adam.

Of course, that's assuming something as outrageous as a worldwide flood is possible.

Before Adam and Eve, the people or apes, were not in God's image. Adam and Eve represent a change in consciousness, not physical form.

Hey, if Adam and Eve isn't the ancestors of everyone, then everyone is not affected by the original sin! And thus, Jesus didn't die for anyone else's beliefs but the Jews' and they don't acknowledge it anyway.

Wow, 5 seconds ago I was a believing christian, but now I have lost faith. I shall go off and rub feces into bibles and burn down culturally significant wooden churches.

I say study truth.

MANKIND ADAM
……………………….
Most have read when Cain talked with Abel and in the field killed him.
Gen.4:8 And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.
God then cursed and drove Cain out, and Cain said.
Gen.4:14 Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the earth; and from thy face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass, that every one that findeth me shall slay me.
WHO IS CAIN WORRIED ABOUT?
Gen.4:17 And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch.
WHERE DID CAIN FIND A WIFE?
The answer is in the Hebrew text of (Gen.1:26 and Gen.2:7).
……………………….
MANKIND
Gen.1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
The word “man” (Gen.1:26) in the Hebrew text looks like this ( אדם ), with no article means “MANKIND”, transliterated is (adam).
……………………….
ADAM
Gen.2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
The word “man” (Gen.2:7) in the Hebrew text looks like this ( את־האדם ), with article and particle means “THIS SAME MAN ADAM”, transliterated is (eth-Ha adham).
……………………….
On the sixth day God created or made MANKIND.
……………………….
On the eighth day God formed THIS SAME MAN ADAM.
