What are good options to reduce my sons stinky feet? He bathes often and wears cotton socks... he's very athletic... like all in our family... but only his feet have a strong odor problem.
What are the best underarm deodorants for those that develop a rash? Should he switch to an organic deodorant?

For your first son, the shoes could be causing the issue. Have more than one pair of shoes which you can switch out.

Also try foot soaks with epsom salts in the water. Use extra talc in his shoes.

For the other son, he is reacting to the chemicals in the deodorants. Try something like Toms of Maine which doesn't have strange chemicals in it.

For the first son, take a bucket, fill it with warm water, and get a big literene bottle. Pour 1/4 of the bottle into the bucket of water, the alchohol will get rid of the germs that cause stink. Try it in his shoes too. Take a new toothbrush, dip it in the listerine, and scrub between toes and everywhere.

For the second son, Smelly armpits are NOT caused by sweat. Sweat has no odor, but when it mixes with bacteria, it becomes smelly. Take listerine and get him to wash out his armpits, dry them out with a clean towel, then sprinkle cornflour on them, it will keep them dry without irritating his skin!

for the boy with stinky feet...he probably perspires a lot more than normal so I suggest a good foot powder after bathing and gently drying the interdigital area....maybe he has fungus which causes bad smell. Take him to a dermatologist to make sure. And while you're at it have the Doc look at the other boy with the acne problem. Good luck!
