Why is it, that when you aren't really into someone.... They always seem to fall in love with you.

And when you're really into them, when you feel like you could fall in love with them.... they treat you like you're invisible?

Am I the only one?

Yeah I call it the Diamond theory. people want what is rare so if you are not into someone and show no sign of interest then you seem more rare cause you aren't as easy as most people. But when you find someone you want the and u start to act kinda needy or just like that person is more valuable then another it starts to work into the same effect. I usually act the same towards women I really want and play the same game no matter what. If you act like that person is a diamond then it will be a diamond. Hard to get really expensive shinny jewelery. Good luck

oh trust me, you aren't the first! I have the same problem, I really liked this kid and I thought I was in love with him. He never seemed to want me or even pay attention to what might be there, until I stopped liking him and got a boyfriend. That's when it really hit him I think, that I wouldn't wait forever. He started liking me at the wrong time and everything was just out of timing. I understand that you either want them or there is nothing there, well maybe you should just move on. I know it's hard, but maybe moving on with make the other one realize what they are missing and run into your arms, or maybe they will think that it's just not meant to be. I hope you realize that it's not your fault or the other person's, you guys just have to be insync to be together. I don't think you are though.
Good Luck, and I hope you find what you are looking for! =)

Because you act differently in both situations. When you aren't into someone, you just act naturally and relaxed with that person, and THAT is attractive. But as soon as you start to get "those feelings" for someone, your defensive mechanisms either go up or shut down completely. Either way, you are so busy trying to "act right" that it's forced and the relationship fails.
