That is why he has sent prophets to the earth, to answer some of those questions. But if this will help we are all spirit sons and daughters of God. Jesus is the only begotten (flesh) son of God. As far as other the Gospel of Barnabas I would stick to approved scriptures for your study until you understand all they are trying to tell you before going to other works. I do however think their are a lot we can learn from other writings but you will have to judge them for truth by the bible. God is the same yesterday as today so his writings or those that are true should not conflict with each other.

The BIBLE is not a children's story. It is a difficult reading but NOT impossible. I suggest that the LIfe Application King James Bible that was mentioned earlier is absolutely a great beginning. The reader that mentioned the "Book of Barnabas" was way off base. The King James Version is one of the best BIBLES written for our use. It is not the only one but it is usable and many Christians will agree with it's authenticity. GOD sent the writers of HIS BOOK the information that they wrote so that we wouls have HIS WORD. We are not simple creatures and Life is definitely not a simpple process so HIS BOOK can not amply describe life without some complexity. So long as we follow the plan of salvation, then read, study, and continue to be faithful we have the opportunity to be in heaven with HIM in THE END. I wish you and your family the best during this holiday season. Have a great week!!

Any time a work has been translated from a different language, there are words or phrases that just don't translate clearly. That's what has happened with the Bible. Additionally, the culture of the time in which it was written, is so vastly different from our culture today, that it sometimes takes a bit of digging to understand it.

If you truly want to understand what God's Word (the Bible) says, ask a trusted pastor or church elder which version of the Bible you should start with. Then, each time you read it, before beginning your reading, pray that God will send His Holy Spirit to help you understand what you read. Sometimes you won't understand it when you read it, but when it applies to something in your life, it will be an "a-ha" moment!

Another great help is to attend a Bible based church regularly and you will learn a lot about interpreting the Bible!

Blessings!

Hi -
There is no Gospel of Barnabas. There seem to be alot of people out there who for whatever reason speak even though they have no knowledge ot intentionally confuse - both of which are sad.
Stay with known, reputable sources - like a good Bible believing church or read "The Purpose-Driven LIfe" by Rick Warren.

Sorry you were treated this way.

Getting information from strangers can be DANGEROUS!

The Gospel of Barnabas is a TRASH BOOK!
That information given sounds more muslim than Christian.

The accepted "canonical bible" of these times do NOT include many other gospels that were supposedly written by followers of Jesus, but who put forth ideas that there not accepted by the religious authorities of that time. I would say, read all of the gospels that you can, "canonical" and "gnostic", and decide for yourself what "feels right" to you. Depend on the promptings of your own soul, not what others tell you.

God's Word is a life long study.
It is seed planted in the soil of your mind.
If God waters and germinates the Word,
it will grow and produce fruit.
You as an individual have to ask, seek, and knock.

God’s enemies will use scripture as Satan did to tempt Christ.
They will misquote, twist or askew the truth for their agenda.
For example, Isaiah 45:7 to say God created evil.

Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

A deeper study will always manifest truth.

(create) “bara” in the Hebrew.
The Hebrew Poel Participle of the verb “bara” which, with “evil”, requires the rendering “bring about”.

(evil) “ra, raah” in the Hebrew, is never rendered “sin”.
God brings calamity about as the inevitable consequence of sin.
It is rendered “calamity”.

God brings about calamity because of sin.

Whenever there are so-called contradictions of God’s Word, a deeper study is always required.
This requires time and effort of the individual to delve into the truth of God’s Word.
Also, use your brain and think about it.
God cannot create true love.
True love will only manifest in a being of freewill.
In like manner God cannot create evil or righteousness, but will only manifest in beings of freewill.

Mat 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
Mat 7:8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

Becuase the different books of the bible were written by people that believed different things. they were meant for the people that were living at the time they were written. They have some good points but are not really meant for us. Go to school, get a Masters degree in Philosophy and then it will make sense.

Luke is my prominent. reason being is that Luke grew to become right into a doctor. He got here in after the certainty and interviewed countless human beings to convey at the same time his Gospel (certainly the Gospel of Luke grew to become right into a letter to Luke's chum). this is written extra as precise documentation from an interloper on the situations. This Gospel grew to become into written in an rather count of certainty way and had no reason to be adorned for any earnings of any sort. to no longer say the different Gospels have been in any way adorned. yet its extra much less taking the word of a Detective in a mode that has compiled data and summed it up in a letter. Luke grew to become into much less of a "heard it in the time of the grapevine" and extra of a "I spoke with this individual and that individual and indexed here are the data" it is likewise believed that Luke wrote the e book of Acts. wish that enables! good good fortune & God Bless
