I really want to file my refund as soon as possible, but I'm not sure how long before my company will send my w-2. When do you usually get it? Beginning, middle or end of Jan? or right before the deadline?

Companies have until the end of January to send them...i usually get mine mid January though.

It depends on your company. I think they have to send them by Jan 31 st. Some companies are great in that they send them shortly after your last check.

They will send out a 1099 form (W-2 form is for employer/employee relationship), and it will show federal taxes withheld. They legally have until January 31st to have the 1099 postmarked, so they may have not even mailed it yet.

Your employer has until the end of January to send your W-2. You'll receive it as soon as they decide to send it out.

state of FL usually sends them out second Jan paycheck, after about the 20th

depends on your employer some emloyers handed the w.2's as soon as they get them from their head office, but it is usually the early part of january,dont worry you will get yours in time, smile
