You should have asked the New Years question when you met her on the 22nd! She's probably already got her NY eve plans by now. Also, if she said call her after the holidays, she may have meant call her after NY. If I were to meet a guy on 12/22 and asked him to call me after the holidays, it's probably because I'm all set for the remainder of the season.
If you're that anxious, call her later on today and just ask her to a movie for Thursday, and feel her out....if she goes to the movie on Thursday, THEN you can casually ask her what her NY plans are...
