It mean that he is the First, and the last. The beginning, and the ending. The author and the creator of Heaven & Earth. It means he created everything in the beginning, and be here in the ending. He is forever, and ever. God is existence, because he is one with the son, and the holy-spirit. I hope I answer your question to the best of my ability.

Not at all. He is saying he is like Adam, the first in the cycle of 6000 years and like Baha'u'llah at the end who are of the same Spirit. All the Messengers could say the same thing since they were all recieving the full measure of the Thought of God and of that same Great Spirit.
Adam or Zadek, Moses, Krishna, Zoroaster, Buddha, Jesus, Muhammad, The Bab and Baha'u'llah(The Glory of God in Aramaic, Ez 43:1-7)

That is one way to interpret it, but that interpretation alone is not complete. However, it is for sure a most important universal truth. The beginning and the end are one, displaying the cyclic nature of universal existence. There are no endings, only new beginnings.

It means that he is the start and the end of all. Everything in the world exist because he wants it... In my opinion, it doesn't mean that everything is god, but it exist because he created it, so you couldn't have electric light if nobody had created it, isn't it?
