He hasn't always been scared of them but when I put on an outfit and wanted to take pictures of him, he has hated it ever since.

Probably hates the clothes and the flash from inside photos may hurt his eyes and confuse him. Take his picture outside dressed like a dog not a dolly.

try taking off the flash and just taking random pictures without an outfit on and giving treats after each photo!

stop and think put the camera around your neck for a few hours a days and your pet may start to get use to it being there. like a vacuum noise, start it out on a tape recorder at low sound and up it every 2 days and they will get used to the noise.

I don't really think you can but you can try placing it in and area where he is the most. For example by his food dish but make sure he doesn't chew it up. I think that should work because my dog was scared of wireless phones and cell phones. But he is not any more. Thank God!!!
