Sounds like you have been hurt and affected by these things. If they are really bothering you and it is something that is affecting your lifestyle and concentration I would see a therapist or your doctor. You may need to talk about it. Talk about how it is bothering you and how it has affected you. They will be able to show you how to deal with this. Maybe OCD and a prescription may be needed, but maybe just talk therapy.

Labeling someone like that is a stereotype. And if someone is saying these rude sayings to you, know that you are the only person that knows what makes up you, and if they don't want to take the time to respect you and your feelings as a person, then its their loss. Wouldn't want to be their friend anyways. It's not fair to anybody, and people just need to see peoples true colors before making their own personal judgment's. And even if you don't like something about someone, still have to respect them as a person, and realize its their life and they are going to do what makes them happy. Not everybody thinks or acts the same way. And if it doesn't affect you in some negative way, why should you care? Some people need to take a jump into reality!

Been There! Best thing you can do is to get a peice of paper and a pen and write it all down every hurtful thing that anyone has ever said or done to you - (keep a journal not a daily one if you don't want just one that you can add too when you feel like it.) When it happens again date it and jot it down. Once you have it all down on paper there is no more need for it to keep going through your head once it's out it's out! It's the only thing that worked for me! Hope you try it and that it works for you!

the repetitive thoughts make me think OCD. it would be interesting to know if you have any other repetitive behaviors. your thoughts also indicate "intrusive" thinking...thats when unwanted thoughts or images come into our minds and are hard to shake. usually the thoughts or images are of situations that we are very disturbed by....for example... a mother may have repeated thoughts of harming her child. these thoughts are obviously very upsetting and cause alot of guilt. they become overwhelming and very painful.
there is both medication and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)available for the conditions i mentioned.
hang in there...and get some professional help if this continues. you are worth it :)
