As it is an antidepressant, there is always a risk of suicide, especially if the medication is taken by a teenager. Their brain metabolism seems to reject the med. But I could find nothing in the literature that states unequivocally that it leads to a TENDENCY to suicide.

different medications effect different people in different ways it depends on the chemistry of your body it could i dont see why not i mean anti-depressents are somtimes known to cause suicidal tendencys
