Use baby oil on your stomach. That's what I used, and it worked.

From what I've heard it is true that you can only have some success if they are still red, if so try olive oil, which is an old wives tale that worked excellent with me when I was pregnant with my first child.
I had been using baby oil and cocoa butter, but those ugly red marks just kept on coming. My doctor told me to use olive oil and not one new mark came out and the others went away, except for a very few deep ones that have since faded.
However, I hate the smell of olive oil and I had to get use to this awful smell and some uncomfortable stickiness. Maybe that is why not too many people use it.
It may depend upon how elastic each person's skin is as to what will work or not. My oldest daughter used the olive oil starting in her second month of pregnancy, gained a lot of weight and not one stretch mark.
Good Luck!
P.S. If your stretch marks are from a pregnancy, I've also heard we're suppose to wear them like trophies, but I would just rather show my children off as the trophy than a yucky stretch mark!

rub some cocoa butter lotion on them twice a day. Palmer's cocoa butter works really well. Depending on your age though, they will probably go away on thier own. Typically people get strtch marks when they are between the ages of 12 and 18. It is because they go through rapid growth spurts and their skin has to stretch quickly. You can also get stretch marks if you are overweight or gain a lot of weight quickly. Anyway, childhood stretch marks usually will go away and you can help them by rubbing the cocoa butter on them.
I got stretch marks around 13, then they went away completely about a moth ago (I'm 15 now).

If your stretch marks are red, you can have laser removal, but all it really does is fade them to blend in with the rest of your skin. If they are already flesh colored, there is really nothing you can do. I have the same problem from loosing alot of weight.
I've tried the Mederma thing, and I didn't notice any change at all. I went to a dermatologist for these and he said that there is no cure for stretch marks, just a way to lighten them to flesh color so that they blend in better.

buy some of the special creams that they sell for removing (fading, actually) those marks. i think you can get them over the counter at almost any drug store for a reasonable price (start around $10 i think). if that doesn't work then see your doctor. hope that elps and good luck

Yeah, you can try cocca butter, but I think that most of them will just go away after a while. That's what happened to me.
