I eat more than the average person and never gain weight long enough for anyone to notice. I've been trying for years to gain some lbs and keep it on. I now have teenage kids that are bigger and healthier looking than I am. I need help. Any suggestions?

It can mean that you have a high metabolism or that you are not processing a lot of the calories from the food you eat. I was the same way until I reached 40. I was 125 pounds. Now I am 43 and 150. Enjoy it while you can!

I used to be that way, but my metabolism slowed down when I turned 30. I used to eat like a horse and always weigh 135 lbs. At age 32, I shot up to 180 lbs. Now I need to watch what I eat, and I stay around 165 lbs.

ironic isn't it that some ppl eat massive amounts and never gain weight and some ppl eat much less than their thin counterparts and cannot lose weight...perhaps there is a inner gauge that has nothing to do with a malfunctioning thyroid...maybe its just genetics...so if a thin person cannot gain then why is it so hard to believe a large person cannot lose....

ya...but i wish i did gain weight at least a little faster than i do.
I don't gain weight cus by running and playing sports and staying active my metabolism reamins at a very high (speed rate whatever it is) if i stopped, then i would gain weight faster. honestly if you want to lose weight and keep it off probably the best thing to do would be to excersise and continue to excersise
