Bose CD player sometimes plays fine and other times does not recognize the CD. Is there a way to fix this?

Gee...I've never had any trouble with my $150 Sony CD player.
Well, ok. There was one time I had a crack all the way thru one half of the CD and it wouldn't play but other than that, no probs in over 9 years.

It's the cd's made by different manufactures that throw it of. Obviously these are burned cd's.
Are they all plus, or are the all -, or is it a mix.
The bose instruction manual should tell you which ones work and which ones do not. And still some of the approved ones will not work.
Solution: Buy more of the ones that do.
