Sony handycam firewire usb transfer video camera camcorder

I do not think I have the proper hookup for a firewire connection. I have a Dell and as far as I can see I dont have a firewire hook up, that is why I was needing to see if I had any other options to transfer video to my PC

You need Firewire to transfer DV to your PC. The USB is for still photos.

for dell inspirons the firewire is on the right side...look at your manual

if u hv window movie maker ..u can directly trnasfer video from ur cam 2 pc..its da easiest way...1st of all u hv install the sony usb software.and u can get ur video clip wise..and u can easily edil also..there z video effests also..u can add any of them and make ur video attractive also.u dont need fire wire...
