As America was founded by and made up of immigrants legal and illegal is it not Anti-American to be against immigration? "Bring us your tired huddled masses yearning to be free, unless they are from Mexico?"

Why would you ask such a biased question? The facts don't bear you out. How about giving some references from debate in either house to demonstrate your point? There are none. Both the Republicans and the Democrats are divided on the way to deal with illegal immigration, but both agree it should be stopped.

What is un-American is people like you trying to stir up trouble in this country and making our government take their eye off the ball - which is the security of this country. Stop worrying about your own bigoted view, and start worrying about America.

It's still about a 50-50 split in the parties on the illegal immigration deal. Neither side is all for or all against. If there's a difference I would say the Dems are looking for votes and the Reps are supporting whatever benefits big business. Big business buys off from both sides so it's not a party issue.

I am a Democrat. Do you even know me? Have we met?
You think all Democrats think the same and have all the exact platform and policies they support?
Your question is vague, and has no meaning. You or no one can make a claim that all of one party is anti-American. That is just plain stupid. It is people like you that are under educated, no common sense, and closed minded to their own opinions and no one Else's, that cause all the bipartisan in this country. Get a life.

It isn't a Democrat v. Republican issue. A number of the new Democrats ran on 'no amnesty, border security' platforms, particularly in the mid west, and McCain, a purported Republican candidate for the 2008 presidential election, is a big sponsor of the old and new Senate Bills for essentially screened, unlimited immigration.

Read about the "Pink Menace" and "the 5th column" and look at the subversion that infiltrates this country and look at who brings it to us in the name of the almighty "PC". Dems are pretty much Communists. Not all of them mind you but enough that N. Korea has nukes and China has ICBMs. The cold war never ended. It just warmed up and moved to the middle east via Carter. The Islamo-Nazis are the new Red Army. The Kremlin knew that it was far more economical to use the Flintstones as tools and wear out our resources and resolve. The Bear Is Only Sleeping!

in any democracy you have people who feel like things are too good. If the democrats have their way, they'll allow everything! Freedom knows no enemy like too much freedom.

The next thing you know, they'll try to take our guns so we can't kill. After that anything goes, we'll have people swearing in on a box set of the second season of Lost.

What we should do is make it so being a democrat is illegal. Those damn un-American freedom-hating liberal freedom fighters who are American but not....

questioning your country is not only American but exactly why our founding fathers created a wonderful system of checks and balances.

by questioning those that question our government you are more anti-American than those who are actually trying to kill us.

democrats are not pro-illegal..... we just see the absurdity of the issue for what it is.... after all we are dealing with humans and understand that a supply and demand side to the illegal immigration problem exists!!!!!!

I would say they are not antiamerican..they are being a little humans,,if most of the illegals are mexicans and latinamericans..let me answer your question..they are half native indians..southamerica or mexico belong to what continent? America..USA meaning you know..the immigration system needs a reform.. to allow the immigrants who pay taxes, pass an english test which proves they understand at least 75% of the language or more, and haven't been in jail become residents or citizens.. do you think the government will be able to deport 15 million of illegals or more? who will do the jobs they do if after slavery blacks do not work hard as they used to do.. at least 60% of african american males got o jail, rob and kill people..and white people do drugs too.. they do cocain and they barely go to jail..illegals are neccessary for this country to improve its economy..and hispanics have done a lot for this country too.. they go to war, work, and fight for an oportunity honestly..perhaps they work with fake papers.. but they work,, there is a lot of jobs outside but you choose..they take whatever//deport them and see how the social system changes..the prosecution is against one race "latinos' we get robbed and mugged in the streets and killed like dogs.without any action against whoever attack us..we are an easy target and if we defend ourselves we go to jail...its time we get some recognition for our labor and what we give to this community..what is american for you,, go to irak,, go to vietnam..did Irakies have something to do with 911 attack? who else you want to be next? what country...is that american.. ?America is a country who was built for immigrants.. but everythin g is fine if they are white.. but we have color and most of us do not even speak the language.. it is better for you so we get minimum wage..dont you think so?let us be stupid, work 3 jobs to get what you get in regular 40 hours a week,,is good for usa..believe me..
