If you haven't eaten for 2 days.. and only lost 3 pounds.. why would you even consider doing such a thing. That is obviously not working.. That is abusing your body. You could lose 3 pounds in 2 days simply by consuming less soda, etc.. You can starve for days.. and eat one Whopper from BK on the 3rd.. and be right back.. if not die from the poison in the Whopper to begin with.. ie clogged arteries, etc. Wich would kill you faster?? Starving, or eating whoppers? Hard to say.. you should obviously start eating healthier instead of this method you have chosen.

unfortunately, this isn't fat that you've lost but only the water in your body - its not healthy and neither is not eating for two days - your body thinks that you starving and ffor this reason you'll find that you won't loose weight cause your bod will store all the fat to be able to sustain itself while you're starving...when you pop something into your mouth its going to be stored immediately, you may loose 3 now but you'll gain 6 if you carry on this way. rather opt for a 6 small meal eating plan with supper being the lightest meal of the day! you're doing your body so much harm! consider what is more important to you living for 2 years, looking skeletal or living the rest of your life at a healthy weight with no seocondary health problems. good luck and listen to your body!

If you really didn't eat anything for two days and if you eat something today the yes the weight will come back. when you don't eat anything your metabolism slows down to conserve energy, so when you finally give your body some food it holds on to it b/c it doesn't know when you will feed it again , thus making your body hold on to body fat. you need to eat 5-6 small clean meals a day to lose weight.

You didn't lose fat you lost water weight and as soon as you eat or drink something it'll be put back on. What you are doing isn't healthy and in the long run you will end up with more body fat. Trust me I'm a recovered Anorexic and Bulimic♥

if you have lost 3 lbs in 2 days, you will surely gain the weight right back. and it wasn't fat that you lost - if you are not eating you likely have lost water weight or worse - muscle, because your body needs protein to operate, and will "eat" itself if not fed the appropriate amount. you must eat daily - period! do not starve yourself to lose weight, this will not work effectively. if you actually need to lose weight (and do not just perceive yourself as being overweight) then you should try one or more of the following: 1) EXERCISE!! this is the only long-term way to control your weight and make your body run most efficiently; 2) Stop drinking carbonated beverages, particularly soda pop - they contain sodium, which causes you to retain water; 3) eat 5 small snack-size meals/day instead of 3 large meals. 4) cut back on your portions in general - no more "super-size" or even "large" portions, you don't need them to be satisfied.

Just as soon as you start back eating, it will probley double. The only sure way and healthy way to lose weight is to eat small postion meals and do excise. I once weighed 320 pounds and now I am down to 150, but it took alot of hard work and watching what I eat.

Yes. Your body is starving and the next time you eat something your body is going to store all the fat and calories. You can gain that 3 lbs back in a day. Why aren't you eating? That's silly.

Most likely, the weight will come back. Not eating is not the way to lose weight. What will happen is your body realizes that you're not feeding it and will hold on tightly to the body fat that you do have. Not eating is very dangerous to your health.

not permanently gone hun, sry, you gotta eat right to stay fit. If you neglect eating than your bodys metabolism goes to starvation mode and everything you eat sticks longer, it will come back once you eat. if you continue to not eat, than you body will begin to target your heart for protein resulting in a very bad permanent damage on your body. auto cannibalism always hits the heart first, eat healthy, anything with not too much sugar or saturated or trans fat and you will maintain or drop too a healthy weight

By not eating your body has gone into survival mode by lowering your metabolism. Anything you eat now will be rationed by the body and as much of it as possible will be stored for reserve energy. You'll most likely gain it right back and then some.
