Go to the doctor and find out. It could be that phontom pain that other guy was talking about, Sinuses or glocoma. It could also indicate a brain tumor. Not to scare you too much. Absolutely get it check out by a professional immediately!

Sounds like sinus pressure and pain to me try something to clear your sinuses, and go to a Dr and they'l check it properly. Better safe than sorry.

I am trying to determine the cause of my right eye/facial pain
went to ophthalmologist- optic nerve slightly enlarged. but OK
went to ENT- sinuses OK
went to Dentist- everything OK there
going to see neurologist in 2 weeks
so in short.. you might have to dismiss possible problems one by one to find a cause

This is called phantom eye pain if no other discomfort arises, such as reddness, cold, flu. If only momentary pain on & off, this is phantom.

You really need to see a doctor. It could be one of many things, Migraines can present in this manner but it also could be something more serious.

you may have to take several tests bou this is commoly associated with and middle ear infection or high blood pressure
