I have had a loan with Sallie May for years but recently when I filed to refinance I was denied and with further investigation learned that I had a claim from Sallie May on My Credit report with the same name as me but a differentt social security number. When I talked to someone at hq they said that it was an error on there part that no on checked to see if the SS# matched. I am not sure what do do and they do not seem to be able to take it off of my report.

I am pretty sure it is an error so get in touch with the party responsible for making this error and get thing straighten out, there are so many people with the exact same name especially in this u.s.a. I am sure they will take care of the issue for you ,and you must remember we are only human and errors can be made by the best of the best,
