I fail to see why you'd want to shut anybody up. Let people express their views, first amendment, that whole business.
Illegal immigration is a Big Problem, a lot bigger than one immigration raid, they'd have to repeat that action about, hmm, let's see, divide 1,100 into 12 million, ten thousand, nine hundred and nine times across the country to hopefully detain every illegal immigrant. I don't know about you, but I don't see that happening, and it'd be trying to bail out the atlantic with a teaspoon unless the borders get enforced right along with it.
What'd be a lot better is 50-state unity on employment laws, basically stating that if you're not a lawful, verified green card holder or US citizen, don't plan on holding a job in our country.
And, with no job, life's really gonna suck, because the rent's 600 bucks, due on the first, which brings us to the 'other, other economy', the underground stuff, drugs, prostitution, whathaveyou, point is, we don't live in a perfect world, and people break the law because there's money to be made by it, and in some cases, people do it to survive.
What really needs to happen, here, is that we need to be realistic about stuff, and get countries like Mexico to show some REAL national pride, and stand up on their own two feet to where they can support their own people.
America's got 300 million, the world's got 6.6 billion, approximately. What's in YOUR immigration policy?

the Unions and liberals are happy, it is a vindication for them, Swift meat packing is forced to give the jobs back to American citizens that they claim that Americans just won't do, the fact is that Americans won't do these jobs without a living wage and benefits

Unions do not protect illegals, they protect workers. It is the Company responsiblity to "hire" legal residents/citizens. Unions don't have big money union bosses. Next time you get fired, you wish you did have a Union to protect you.

well just goes to show how unions are socialist?? why are they supporting illegals and not the American worker?? they take the members money and support non members or non Americans and whine and cry over treatment of illegal workers?? maybe illegals money is just as good to the big union bosses?? more money to scam? just show them for what they are? socialists and liberal? what could be worse?

They deported a little over 4,000 people last month, by all accounts. In the same period, by estimates 40,000 more people illegally came to this country.
And they think THEY are angry?
