Talk to Martin Luther, the victims of the Inquisition and the "converted Native Americans" about your resentment of Protestants and reverence for the Catholic Church. Most of us got tired of it about 300 years ago.

We are not better ,we want to follow God
2 Peter 1:20
But know this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture is a matter of ones own interpretation, (see the coma)
for no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.(by God not the writers)

Is the Bible Gods Word
2 Timothy 3:16

All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,
John 1:1-
In the beginning was the Word ,
and the Word was with God and the Word was God.

you've a difficult time getting an answer to this, considering Christians do not worship the Bible any more beneficial than atheists worship technological knowledge. for each respective team, the Bible or technological knowledge is a fashion to an end. and also you does not locate one get at the same time interior the Bible the position it claims to be "infallable", if basically because there is not any such note. Catholics genuflect (they don't "bow") in church because that's seen to be the residing house of God, and very last I heard, Catholics do worship God, and easily God. they don't worship all of us or some thing else. Why this LIE persists continues to be a secret to me. possibly that's an illustration that human beings do not care what actually. showing comprehend for someone and worshipping someone are 2 totally diverse options.

We aren't worshiping a book, silly. We worship God. The Bible is only about the beginnings of the faith. Just because someone is named in it doesn't mean they are revered in any way. Yes, there are lots of things left out of it. It's up to each of us to read many things, and learn as much as we can so we can make our own personal decisions.

Nobody is worshipping a "book." God is who we worship. Just like archaelogists have been researching history and in many civilized countries around the world history books are kept the Bible is a record and example to us of what happened and an intelligent recording of human nature in relation to God and our attitudes toward God.

They broke off from the Catholic Church when they figured out the Catholic church did not have all the doctrine of the true church. That said it still did not give them the doctrine as the keys had been lost from the time of the apostles and could not be returned to earth with out heavenly help.

good question! If the people who are insisting on one certain version- and King James Version fans are usually the ones most vocal in this area--were logical, then they would insist on using the Scriptures only as written in the original Hebrew, Greek and Aramaic....any translation will inevitably allow for at least small errors in understanding.
