This is not really easy, because a lot of feelings are involved, but one thing is for sure, Love is a two way highway, what you give, you'll receive. However, when one of the parties is not willing to take their share in the quest for hapiness, then the other person is fighting the battle all alone.
Imagine that you 2 marry, How is it going to be like? You doing all the effort to make your marriage work and your spouse just taking it easy on the problems you 2 are facing? Is it fair? It is true that you are suposed to love not expecting anything in return, but the other person is suposed to do the same, otherwise that marriage is bound for divirce even before you have time to think about it.
Don't force yourself into a relationship that is going to hurt you, at least don't do it in the name of "love", If you say "well he/she will change with time", let me give a piece of good and bad news; He/she will not change, good because you're still on time, and bad because you probably think that you love him/her and you're going to suffer. Well, it is better to suffer now for a short time than for the rest of your life. Whether you're a boy or a girl, you deserve a lot more than that. I can see that yopu want to make things to work out, but this is something you can't do alone. Make a wise decision, and God bless you.

If someone is taking you for granted either you need to stop seeing them or show them what it feels like. You can say stop all day long and a person will not stop. I would probably have left them a long time ago...because you dont want someone who is always taking and you are always giving. If it seems like the more u give the more they take then you dont have to stay there for that...you deserve better than that. If you feel like u still can make it work then you need space...disconnect yourself from them. Give them some time to think about what they are doing, but if that doesn't work then nothing will.

Distance yourself from that person, not a lot, but a little. Stop calling so much and going out of your way to do things for them. I'm not saying completely ignore them, but back off a little. If they don't start appreciating you, kick them to the curb. A little bit of appreciation and acknowledgement goes a long long way, and life's too short not to be thankful. Good luck!!

Once you leave this person they'll miss you. However don't be with a person that's taking you for granted. It's not worth the stress.

Tell this person how you are feeling,unappreciated,taken for granted.If this person can't find it in them to consider your feelings,well,they probably aren't worth you're time! No one should be made to feel that way.Believe me I feel that way a lot,by my husband of 14 yrs. & he has no right making me feel that way!Espically when almost everything I do, I do for him! So you just hang in their!Find someone that will love you for real!

Quit having sex with him/her. Get them all turned on and then just say you don't feel like it. Start buying nice dinners for only yourself. Don't say thank you when they do anything.
