My hair is very long and i'd like to get it cut, but im not sure what i want, just a few inches shorter, will the stylist recommend something and where should i go? i have dark fine hair, but theres a lot and its long, and an oval-heart shaped face. Also, i recently found out pantene pro v is damaging to your hair because of the ingredients used, what is ok for your hair?

There is no best shampoo. Everyone has different tastes, likes and dislikes, and notions about brands.

My favorite is ELVIVE by L'Oreal. It comes in 'hair repair' (orange bottles) 'pearl shine' (pink bottles), 'dandruff fix' (blue bottles) and perhaps a red bottle for color treated hair.
See what suits you and try it out. Make sure you buy the shampoo and conditioner. It works wonders together.

Since you have long hair, get a nice layered cut. Ask your hair stylist to give you as many layers as possible, and make it look wild and sexy. Long tresses are hard to maintain, but when you got the long hair, give it a cut that others can't have.

GoodLuck!

I have been using Paul Mitchell products lately and they have really made a difference with my hair. Usually you can find these at fine salons, they are not cheap. Maybe if you ask around or know someone who owns a salon you can get them for a cheaper price. Good luck!

use a ph balanced shampoo. thats all. no matter if you want to pay a 1.50 for suave or 5.50 for a salon shampoo. shampoo does one thing: cleans your hair. your hair is a dead thing. it cannot absorb any nutrients. none. your hairs root receives nutrition from your bloodstream. vitamins by mouth can help. i truly believe in cutting your hair on the rising phase of the moon to make hair grow. not sure why, but, somehow its seems to work for me.

I use Biolage it's a bit more expensive then stuff at regular stores but it's great. You can get two big bottles for 20 at your local salon.

If you are broke though buy Aussie shampoo or Herbal Essence.
