In the Mass area several public air shows feature the C-5A Galaxy and the C-141. The C-5s ####### is simular to most airlines except that it isn't blocked off from the passengers like the commercial instead it is seperated by the Air Conditioning and power plant system and without all the frills of commercial airlines. Most Crew Chiefs will let you up the two seperate ladders from the ground to the cargo department and from the cargo department up into the #######. (But in a 9-11 world I don't know if its still allowed."

greater convenient to sign the froundcrew, and at circumstances, the AC is grew to become off, and the cockpit, with each and all the electronics crampt collectively in there can get fairly heat very quickly. The windowsprovide fairly air flow in those situations. In some aircrafr, the place this window is sufficiently enormous, it can be used as an emergency get away for the cockpit group.

Nothing seems of higher importance in the post 9/11 era than airline security. Just asking this question is bound to set off security flags.
The first thing that popped into my mind was...why. Is it evaluate the security in place to protect the a/c or is it just curiosity?
If I take a friend or family member on a tour of one of our a/c it is one thing. If someone I'm not familiar with asks me I would be inclined to say no.
Call me careful. That's why I am an OLD pilot.

In a commercial airliner? No.

If you buy a plane ticket, then maybe you can get a tour. But thats about it.
