Dated ex , who was also my 1st bf n love for a couple yrs...I'll call him Allan*(not his real name!) I really loved him wanted to spend rest of my life with him at one stage but he dumped me and treated me badly after that. He still called me etc tho..craving some attention pathetic! Clearly having some brains I have no desire 2 get back with him..however he dislikes the fact I've a new bf even tho he has a live in gf now..he still tells to people (if they listen) that I still want him.....HELL NO! Has caused probs with new man to extent......why are ex bfs JERKS!

he probably didn't realize what he had until it was gone.
he most likely wants YOU back. and his only way of doing so is to make YOU look bad towards your current relationship possibly ending to a break up and getting back with him.

When I think of first loves,I always imagine the couple being youngish.I think the problem could be that when you have your first love you truly do believe it to be just that...love.But lets face it, if your young when you find your first love your gonna be emotionally young, immature even and have trouble coping with all those strange emotions.You never gonna believe that you won't be together because of depth of feeling.When the inevitable break up happens..one or both sides don't know how to handle it..thus turning one or both partners into temporary nutters lol.

our first love is always a jerk, i believe that is true, coz at that time we are dying to be loved, and the first person who comes to us appears to be the perfect one!!!!!
i don't blame you, i have also been through all this. you just need to forget what has happened in the past, let him spread humors if he wants to, just move ahead in life.
you should make ur new bf understand what happened in the past, why u left this guy,and now there is nothing going on between u and ur ex. if this guy loves u truly, he will believe you, give him sometime

Here's mine i'll call him DAVID because that's his name!
Met when i was 17, had first son with him when i was 21, but he left, had an affair with a northern bird, she got pregnant, aborted it, being a dad wasn't for him (The warning signs were there) then he decided after son was born that he wanted to be a dad, but waited 3 weeks to meet his child and then went on holiday with his sister because he had had a stressful year. Moved back into my flat, married a year later, had another son, left before he was 2.
He hasn't seen his kids for four years and owes them alot of maintanance, £32k to be precise. He is remarried and busy bringing up someone elses kids, so i finality yeh he is moran!

Usually because we are inexperienced when we first start having relationships and sometimes make bad choices. It's all practice until we meet someone to settle down with. You cannot change how he behaves but you can choose how you react, or more importantly don't react to it. The best 'revenge' ever is to learn from your mistakes, make better choices, and have a better, a**hole-free life.

and that is why they are you ex befriend dont take it so bad if they really love u they wouldnt treat u like **** in the the first place they would honor and respect that it is half their lung nxt to your heart they break and its somrthing that in them could b immature behavior now a true man w/respect for his mother would alway carry that mentality regardless the situation its like the customer is alway right thing a real MAN cry s shows sensitivity and is old enough to not play head games alot of men ive seen dont find that out until its to late and the are pushing 50 and no one wants therr a** here to shed some lite on u i will tell u my experience I was madly i mean in MFen in love with my first Tony my mom back in the day when i didnt know **** wich tony always said young tender roni dont u know no!u dont he was of course older and short story long he was like a bro now im a bastard so hey i say that with pride because heavenly father the bestdad id say i could ever have ! :) any way he was sent away i was miserable running away until BBBBOOOOOM!all the drama wit my madre til this day on the real my heart my angel tony past away .now talk about hurt and heart ache but girl before i realized i was ok ....why becauause our firt loves r the ones that have to hurt or else we wont learn and it prepares us for the real love God prepares 4 us .so dont keep walking into the same wall or down the same sidewalk falling in the same hole in that sidewalk girl next time walk around it go to the craft store make yourself something special or to and give one thing away and keep yuor heart because lifes gonna hurt and shopping makes you broke so do it yourself and it all comes togetherin time and babygirl if he is the true love than back off and b patient craft it up dont think aboutit so much and before u know it the truth will show in God s time . life wasnt made to be easy than what would be the point one day when your a mother i speak from experince a death of a lover and a(2003)mother so take this advice as u will. remember REAL EYES REALIZE REAL LIES AND THE EYES ARE THE PATH TO THE HEART AND SOUL AND WITH AN UNCLUTTERD MIND AND POSITIVITY YOU WILL KNOW k n o w NOT NO BUT TRULY KNOW WHEN ITS TRUE LOVE . Good for you, you're best rid of him.
My 1st love lasted 5 years. He dumped me. Slagged me off. I still loved him (der). He then asked me back out. I was delighted (der). Only reason he asked me back out was so he could collect all his cd's and stuff from my house. Once he'd done that, I got dumped again. He is a complete t0sseR.
