i need help in building a radio?

can anyone tell me how to to build a radio without using th new advanced technology, i want to build one that is simple, almost like the very early generations of radios.

You can try making a crystal radio. One hint in there construction is a loang antenna to get a decent signal strenght to work with. (50 ft or longer)
