Why christians don't act upon on their own book i.e bible?

The closest he said was "I and my Father are one", but that is equally true for all prophets! Since all the prophets preach God's words i.e almighty ALLAH...

You are correct my friend. The Council of Nicea made jesus a "god", jesus never claimed to be anything supernatural.

Not a single verse? Heh, heh. I love it when people ignorant of the Bible try to use it against Christians. It is almost as good as when Christians who are ignorant of the Bible try to use it against non-believers. :-P

Read the Gospel of John and you will find that Jesus says that the son and father are one, and that he is the son of God. Logically, it follows that he is one with God. How you choose to interpret this is your choice, but it is not illogical in a Biblical sense for Christians to believe what they do. Also, in many situations Jesus is worshipped by people he meets, such as Matthew 28:9, and he never rebukes them for this. Is this proof that Jesus was God? Of course not, but it easily refutes your argument that "not a single verse" has Jesus directly saying he was God, or that the lack of such versus makes Christians wrong.

But the fact of the matter is that you are limiting yourself to only the specific parts of the Bible that suit your agenda. The Gospel is only four small books (albeit it significant ones), and do not cover everything that Jesus said. As far as the Bible is concerned, we rely much on the teachings of his disciples, who say he was God. The Letters of Paul and Peter, the book of Acts; these are all in the Bible as well as the Gospel, and they say Jesus is God. They are the ones that knew him and were filled with his spirit, so they are the authorities on the subject moreso than some dude in 2006 reading the Bible and picking out the parts that he thinks makes Christians look bad. Your argument is invalid and poorly constructed.

You are right! There is no verse in the English Bible where Jesus stood up and said "I AM GOD"! But the Bible clearly teaches that He is. And Jesus clearly said He is if you understand the statements that were made by Him in that time. Why did the people fall back on the ground when Jesus said "I am." Because that was the Name of God. (John 18:6)

Incorrect:

You are my witnesses," declares the LORD, "and my servant whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe me and understand that I am he. Before me no god was formed, nor will there be one after me" (Isaiah 43:10).

John 1:3, "Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made."
Col. 1:16-17, "For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together."

Rev. 1:17, "When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. Then he placed his right hand on me and said: ‘Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last.’"

Rev. 2:8, "To the angel of the church in Smyrna write: These are the words of him who is the First and the Last, who died and came to life again."
Rev. 22:13, "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End

John 8:24, "Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins." (NKJV)
John 8:58, "I tell you the truth," Jesus answered, "before Abraham was born, I am!" See Exodus 3:14

As a man, Jesus said that he did only what the Father, God, told him to do. He is our example to follow. Pray before action. He also said that, I am the way, the truth, and the light there is no other way to the Father but by me. We are to bear fruit. That means to obey the Father and speak BOLDLY what he tells us to speak. By doing that, others will be encouraged and become bold as well. I agree, most "Christians" don't have a clue what the Bible says because they won't read it. Then, if they do, they don't spend time in prayer so God can reveal what it means to their heart/soul. We have a choice. If I, as a believer, don't read my Bible and pray, I am in sin. Also, when Jesus healed the leapers, and others, some fell down and worshipped him. By example, he is worshipped as the living Son of God. I don't know about you, but as a man, Jesus was beaten, hung on a cross, you couldn't recognize him as a man, died willingly and rose up from the grave/hell. Jesus went to hell and for the days he was there, praised God and worshipped him. Then God raised him. I don't have any trouble worshipping God, or his Son Jesus for doing that for me. Nothing I go through will ever be that bad. I recently had surgery on my neck to help relieve pain I have had for 10 years. I was stupid. God wanted me to have the surgery long before but I wanted to be "Healed". God healed my heart/soul! There is a good and acceptable will of God, ie-surgery, and a PERFECT will of God, ie Healing. I was raised in religion which taught me nothing. Now I am a believer who, with the GRACE and MERCY of God, is learning what the Bible says. God Bless

Jesus made it clear through His prayers that the Father is to be worship and their identity is the same, yet different.
Indeed one day when we come into all truth we will worship the Son and His Father.
Christ is King, Lord of Lords
Jehovah is Abba, Father.
Strangely though, they both sit on thrones, God on His Throne, and Christ on the right hand side, on His Throne. Settle the decision and worship both.

This is a common misconception that Jesus did not compare himself TO God.
He did many times in fact.

gospel of John
"In the beginning was the word and the word was God.....and the word became flesh"

New International Version (NIV)
58"I tell you the truth," Jesus answered, "before Abraham was born, I am!"

As many know the term, "I AM" is referring to when Moses asked God who should I tell them who went me God responded, Exodus 3:14" God said to Moses, "I am who I am . This is what you are to say to the Israelites: 'I AM has sent me to you.'
This was known to the Pharases and this is why they responded to violently to him John 8:59 "At this, they picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus hid himself, slipping away from the temple grounds."
And lets see Jesus forgave sins often. This really made the Pharasess mad!

colossians1:
13For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, 14in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

15He (Jesus) is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. 17He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. 18And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy.

WHO does THIS sound like to you?

Jesus is the Son of God, the firstborn of all creations.

God was talking to someone when he said: “Let us make man in our image.” (Genesis 1:26) Who would it be?

Proverbs 8:30 answers "then I came to be beside him as a master worker, and I came to be the one he was specially fond of day by day, I being glad before him all the time."

Yes, Jesus was with God from the beginning as he is the firstborn...Colossians 1:15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation; 16 because by means of him all [other] things were created in the heavens and upon the earth, the things visible and the things invisible...

This is the reason why Jesus said 'Before Abraham was I am, he existed in heaven even before Abraham was born.

Trinitarians will say that Jesus claiming 'I am' he is saying that he is God because of their interpretation of the verse in Exodus when God said also I am....
----------
Jesus never claimed equality with God.

“Concerning that day and hour nobody knows, neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son, but only the Father.” (Matthew 24:36)

“The Father is greater than I am.” (John 14:28)

"“He that puts faith in me puts faith, not in me only, but in him also that sent me; and he that beholds me beholds also him that sent me." (John 12:44) -a sender and the one sent are different persons

Keep this mental attitude in YOU that was also in Christ Jesus,  who, although he was existing in God’s form, gave no consideration to a seizure, namely, that he should be equal to God. (Philippians 2:5-6)

The answer lies in the first verse of the old testament.

In the beginning, God created.

Then look to the new testament to John chapter one, verse one.

In the beginning was the word, and the word became flesh.

This is the most direct link and without doubt the absolute truth,. Jesus Christ is God in the flesh.

We already know that God made himself flesh in order to walk and talk with Abraham and Sarah, Why would you not believe he would again make himself flesh in order to pay our debt to him?

He already promised that he would, way back in Genesis, he told eve that from her seed would come a deliverer and the devil would bruise his heel as he would crush the devils head.

It is all there in the bible, although, it is only understood by those whom God has chosen. If all this seems as foolishness to you, it it because God has not yet opened your eyes to it, or it is that God has invited you to know and understand, but you have used your free will to reject this invitation. (Romans, all chapters)

Jesus said, I and my Father are one... Check out John 10.

Also, Jesus did receive worship and did not rebuke those who did worship Him, like the angel who rebuked John for falling before him. Check out Revelation!

Jesus also forgave sins, and only God can do that!

The wise men worshiped Him, Matthew 1. The disciples worshiped Him, Matthew 14:33; the disciples worshiped Him, Luke 24, last few verses. Hebrews 1:6, "Let all the angels of God worship Him!"

Those are wowsers. So, who are you gonna believe? The Bible or the Jehovah's Witnesses who contrived a translation to support their heresies???

Yes He did - here you go:

Jesus as the Son of God

Matthew 16:

13When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, "Who do people say the Son of Man is?"
14They replied, "Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets."

15"But what about you?" he asked. "Who do you say I am?"

16Simon Peter answered, "You are the Christ,[b] the Son of the living God."

17Jesus replied, "Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by man, but by my Father in heaven.

Jesus as God (using the term 'I am' - why the Pharisees sought the charge of blasphemy

John 8:24
I told you that you would die in your sins; if you do not believe that I am the one I claim to be, you will indeed die in your sins."

There are many more - but here's one last one - the prophesy in Isaiah of Jesus

Isaiah 9:6 (note the child born is the Mighty God)

6 For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given,
and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called
Wonderful Counselor, [b] Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
