In Acts 3:23, Peter claims that Deuteronomy 18:18-19 refers to Jesus, saying that those who refuse to follow him (all non-Christians) must be killed.

This is true.
But it took Christians a good 1700 years to figure out how to take Jesus' words literally.
Read your History of Christianity. People are people are people.
And I think you would be hard pressed to find any example where Christians were acting "good" and "nice" for about a millenium and a half.
Christians tortured people, conquered and destroyed all, including small children, as a matter of course.
They accused children of being "witches", even babies, and burned them alive.
Mind you, this was only several hundred years ago!!! Christians have not been so nice, they were more NOT nice for the majority of their time on earth.
Nice Christians are a VERY recent thing.

And, have you ever read the Qur'an? I doubt it.
I am studying Islam, and my teacher does not do anything to force my change to the religion. I have said I am Jewish, that is the only religion I am interested in belonging to, but I want to learn Islam............for a better understanding.
The one main issue here that you and I do not agree on, and I do agree with Islam on, is that there is no G-d but G-d. And, Jesus was not G-d, and to say so is blasphemy and idolatry. G-d said, ''you shall have no other G-d but me''.
Christianity have done more killing in the name of religion than any other religion in history. Study your history books.

"History makes it clear however, that the legend of fanatical Muslims sweeping through the world and forcing Islam at the point of the sword upon conquered races is one of the most fantastically absurd myths that historians have ever repeated." --De Lacy O'Leary, ISLAM AT THE CROSSROADS, London, 1923, p. 8.
"I have studied him - the wonderful man - and in my opinion far from being an anti-Christ he must be called the saviour of humanity. " George Bernard Shaw in "The Genuine Islam"
"His readiness to undergo persecutions for his beliefs, the high moral character of the men who believed in him and looked up to him as leader, and the greatness of his ultimate achievement - all argue his fundamental integrity. To suppose Muhammad an impostor raises more problems than it solves. Moreover, none of the great figures of history is so poorly appreciated in the West as Muhammad." --W. Montgomery Watt, MOHAMMAD AT MECCA, Oxford, 1953, p. 52.

Mohammed was not a prophet, he was just a man with a plan.
Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and our Lord and Savior.

Neither. Same concept, different approaches of carrying it out.
Jesus says that he has come to destroy families by making family members hate each other. He has "come not to send peace, but a sword." Matthew 10:34-36
