They don't - many of them don't know that Muslims believe in Mary. They don't see the 3 major faiths as a part of something from One Creator who insists that we connect the dots and arrive at a conclusion that is not based on emotion, as emotions are never consistent but on reason and rationality which provides certainty.

I really wonder if you Moslems ever learn English in your schools?
That should have read "What do Christians ....?" Even then, it would still be stilted, at best. Hmmmm, maybe if we changed the "think" to "feel", it'd be better. But then, we'd need to change the "do" to "would".
"What would Christians feel about this verse in the Koran, about Mary?"
In answer to the question, I'd say - nothing.
Though it does seem kind of inappropriate for a guy who came 600 years after the event to say this kind of thing, like he was speaking with Her from the standpoint of God!?!?
But then, inconsequential.

Here is a Koranic verse for you. - Sura 29:27 states clearly that, as far as Allah and the Qur'an are concerned, the only true prophets are those related to Isaac (Ishaq) or Jacob (Yaqoub); yet Muhammad, according to Muslim tradition, is related to Ishmael and not Isaac or Jacob.

I would say that Christians would discount it because it is Islam. Most have a very bigoted attitude toward Islam, and even if it is the same belief as their own religion-they will be against it, coming from the Qur'an.
Note: hello T ----answers as I said-----bigoted. It is not Christian, so do not accept, even if it is the very same belief of Christians.

I think that it demonstrates that Islam also recognizes Mary as the virgin mother of God.

I don't care. I am a Christian. Why would I care about something that is not relevant to my faith? I believe God's word above all else. That is the real truth.
